Anyone Else playing Avorion?

Has anyone else gotten sucked into this game? God, i can't seem to get anything done.

Never heard of it what sort of game is it?

the three basic things i can compare it to would be an even mix of Eve Online, StarMade, and Freelancer. But if you havent heard of any of those games, its a Space building rpg with an open galaxy that is procedurally generated, and filled with quests and NPC factions. It doesn't take an FPS view like other building games, but third-person, where your ship is your character, if that makes sense. I'm quite enjoying it, because the advancement in the game is pretty easy to understand. There's 7-8 different materials that represent the different tiers of building. the farther inward to the galactic center you are, the more exotic the ores you'll find, and the more advanced ships you can build.

In any case, i recommend at least checking it out.

Yeah I have played a little bit of it, it is quite enjoyable. Some of the features seemed a bit counter intuitive at the beginning and they could do some work on station docking but it is enjoyable.

The game itself is alright. Got a bit boring after a couple of hours :/
