Blocks not snapping to rotating brick
Just noticed a snapping/attaching bug. I've attached a video for the dev to check out but basically while holding right mouse button to work out placement, if you move around the rotating block, the block you're trying to place snaps to a imaginary block but is still attached to the rotating block. Also, the hull and wing panel blocks can't be placed one at a time to snap side by side, it tries to create a box essentially by snapping at a 90 degree angle. Which means the only way to use them is to do the new shift+ctrl extension method to fill out a square area and not extend after that.

Re: Blocks not snapping to rotating brick
Ok thanks for the video it is super clear !
So in fact you are using the flat hull block, and not the wings block. The wings is a bit thicker at 25cm large, but their main difference is the building orientation : the hull one is build flat parallel to a surface (hence the 90 deg angle since we were targeting the side of the block), whereas the wings is build on the normal, and looking at the way you wanted to build it you were looking for the normal logic one.
Hull is in red, Wings is in yellow
Now regarding for wings I also was not super satisfied with them, I might try to have them made with brick instead I am not sure I need more testing if you can give me your impression once you will them.
But that being said you also discovered a real bug : at one point yes it wanted to place it on the opposite side, I will have a look at this !

Re: Blocks not snapping to rotating brick
Ah ok so the hull plates are meant to be hull reinforcement essentially?

Re: Blocks not snapping to rotating brick
For now they are just for decoration purpose to do the hull pattern we see in every scifi movie but yes I will consider to give them a higher armor rating if this is what you were referring to.
Re: Blocks not snapping to rotating brick
armour rating wasn't really a thought. i was just referring to the cosmetics but cool idea either way.
