[Low Priority] [Visual] Jagged edge stars
I've noticed some jagged edges on star boundaries.

Yeah this are visual artifact due to the fact I render the stars protuberances at 1/4 resolution for performance issue, I will work on integrating better them (not on the short term tough). Also did you noticed some framerate drop near the star ? I need to optimize the shader further.
Also glad to see you managed to warp

Re: [Low Priority] [Visual] Jagged edge stars
I didn't notice any major lag spikes but I've noticed that although I've been accelerating at HYP100% away from the star for a minute I didn't seem to be getting away from it(or moving at all) yet when I exited the spaceship I got flung into space so it means I was moving. Did you implement a gravity well or something like that? I know that if you are doing 1:1 representation the star is gargantuan in size but after 1 minute of acceleration at HYP100% I should be approaching speeds high enough to notice any movement.

Yeah actually I fixed the speedometer so soon you will be able to see your actual speed.
If you selected a star from the first layer then it is a supergiant so they can be 1000x bigger than our sun so it would surprise me if you dont feel any move at all, but I will check it is actually not a bug.

Re: [Low Priority] [Visual] Jagged edge stars
It's the default(?) star selected in the galaxy map(the star is in the center of the galaxy) when using your Francois save. I thought about the size but I wasn't sure because as you said I can't see my speed but from my experiments near the gas giant minute should be enough to get at least to multiple c(if the HYP drive goes that high). I've played quite a lot of space engine and this feels off. Maybe it's just a feel or there's something more to that.

Yeah I just checked in fact it is 500x the diameter of our sun, which is pretty massive - the biggest star know is 2000x time the size of the sun.
I was only feeling to start moving at more than the speed of light.
But looking at the galaxy map it is definitely not the center of the galaxy, there must be something wrong with the icon placement I will check that.

That's what I get on a fresh save(I specially overwrote the save files with freshly unpacked ones).

yeah I see also this is at the center of the galaxy, but after the warp you can look at the galaxy around you (in the sky I mean), you are located somewhere in a spiral arm. Btw the galactic core looks like crap when you warp to it I did really work on it yet.
