Build from 2016-12-28 : Paint Release !
For Christmas here is the Paint Build !
Now first a warning : I updated the blueprint save structure like 3 or 4 time to work on this, so if you played the game before and had build something you would like to keep tell me, I can do the conversion for you. I added all the main ship to the Saves.zip, you can unzip this in the save folder and overwrite old save to access the updated ships.
Main Changes :
There is a few known bugs : sometime the last paint dont update, no more block sounds, I will fix that soon (plus all the older issues)
Now this was just the first (and biggest) step in a codex refactoring. What will come in the next few days is :
I will do a separate thread to discuss about this paint system, but there is also a few other thing I would like to try out like interior and cockpit, I will post that in the building thread. I might do a mini repaint competion on Raiben ship if people are up to it, it could be a good opportunity to test the system in bob ross creative fashion

Main Changes :
- New paint system : use paint to color blocks. Left click to color paint, right click to set paint as default color for all new blocks being built.
- New shape for hull : Most hull come now in two shapes familly : first is Cube (+ wedge, tetra, corner, hepta), second being slabs (slabs, wedge slabs, slab corner).
- New basic and basic rusted hull blocks : these will have the two standards shape plus other shape, like edge block. I will had many more block here ! The idea is to keep the number of different block low for most hull textures, only these two having a wide range of shape.
- File saves are reduced, from 4x to 10x smaller.

- Same paint mecanism for Bricks ! This time as we dont used brick that much I will not maintain the blueprint format, so dont build too much thing with brick you will loose everything in a couple of day !
- The shape family will be bundle together in the same item, like in starmade. So you only have to drag one item in the bar, it will take less room also. I want to do this because it seems my builder always use many different shape (unlike me, being a n00b I barely use slope), so it will make your like easier - and it will also simplify the codex.
- More blocks for decoration : light block, more shape for the grating/grids

Remi yes you can go ahead, but please keep in mind if you want me to convert some spaceship you build before send me you save files ! I had to update the file format structure several time, so I have an intermediary build to convert blueprint.
